CrossFit Thin Blue Line On-Ramps in full swing!
What a great Saturday it was at CFTBL, where we began our on-ramp sessions with 15 motivated, enthusiastic athletes. Jeff, Steve, Sarah and Jeremy worked with the diverse group, some of whom had done CrossFit, and some who hadn’t. The air squat, front squat and the overhead squat were focused on in this one and a half hour session. For many, this was their first exposure to CrossFit so we tried to make sure they started with a solid foundation that will allow them to build up over time and develop a skill set that will allow each of them to reach and surpass their initial goals.
A nice “intro” WOD (workout of the day) was put in place by Steve and all of our groups did great as they learned the dreaded tabata interval workout. They did air squats, push ups and box-jump burpees after having already worked their lower body leading up to their WOD. All of us at CFTBL talked about how great the attitude and mindset is of our initial group of athletes. We are so excited to work with each of you and promise that every workout or session with us will be tough but incredibly rewarding.
We are moving right into our day two and day three on-ramps for the week of 8/3, so please contact us and let us know what day (Mon-Wed-Thur-Sat) you want to come and continue your program.
